TONI WASHINGTIN

Toni Washingtin Singer, Songwriter, Musician, Producer is a native of Pittsburgh PA who has made Philly her home for many years. Toni is a giver who believes in working to show the audience how much she appreciates them. She is pretty well connected with the Philly Jazz and Blues scene and although she has received some formal training the best school was in The School of Live Philly Jam sessions.

She has worked with muscians who have traveled the world who have backed icons such as the late Nina Simone, Buddy Guy and Philly bands like The Delphonics,

The Stylistics and Sister Sledge and the list goes on and on. She founded a grassroots organization called Healthy Music Matters in 2000 and has been reaching out to assist performers in their time of need since then.

Back in 2012 Toni resurrected The Philadelphia Blues Society(aka) Philly Blues Society and recruited about 50 members. To date The Philly Blues Society has around 1,300 members all over the country.

Toni has performed in and around The Delaware Valley for over 3 decades and is always happy to give back. She has helped to produce two compilation projects with the help of musicians and artists with strong ties to Philly.
